You’ll probably recognise Glencoe as the location for the Harry Potter films and much of James Bond’s ‘Skyfall’, but there’s much more to this highlands hotspot. If you’d like to get the adrenaline going, Glencoe is a great spot for munro climbing, kayaking and skiing at different parts of the year. If you’re looking to relax, however, try the local cuisine at the visitor centre or take a day trip to the enchanting nearby islands of Canna, Eigg, Muck and Rum.
