Nestled along the amazing coastline of Northwest Scotland, Stoer Bay Chalets  offers the ultimate self-catering escape amidst the rugged beauty of the Highlands. Overlooking Loch an Aigeil, with the stunning Stoer Bay just across the road we are nestled into the hamlet of Stoer,  just 7 miles outside Lochinver. There are so many amazing beaches close by including Achmelvich & Clachtoll. You will be spoilt for choice.
Our cosy and well-appointed Self Catering chalets provide the perfect retreat for nature lovers, outdoor adventurers, and those seeking peace and tranquillity and an escape from the stresses of daily life.

We have three charming chalets—Tarka, Mijbil, and Edal—named after famous otters in literature, a fitting tribute to the wild otters that can often be spotted nearby.
Our chalets are designed for comfort, featuring a fully equipped kitchen, a warm and inviting living space, and panoramic windows that showcase spectacular views.
Each chalet has a double bedroom and a twin bedroom - Tarkas twin room features a bunk bed whilst Mijbils & Edals are 2 single beds. Tarka also allows a 5th guest on the sofabed in the lounge. Mijbil & Edal are identical in layout and size whilst Tarka is slightly larger with a seperate kitchen and a small balcony.
Guests also have access to the "Stoer Hut" a shared space with a washing machine, freezer and extra storage for luggage.
On arrival there will be a welcome pack with  homemade treats for everyone as well as the essentials to get a cuppa going after your journey up.

Our chalets can be booked individually or together, making them ideal for family & friends, group retreats & special occassions. Enjoy the privacy of your own space while staying close to loved ones in this stunning coastal setting.

We also warmly welcome up to two well-behaved pets per chalet, so your four-legged companions can join in on the adventure!
