The Property
Rose Cottage is one of the most romantic retreats on the estate, and is often used by artists and writers who take inspiration from its picturesque setting next to the River Aline, views across the water to Kinlochaline Castle.
This 'postcard' cottage is cosy enough for two people and large enough for a holiday for 6. Dogs are welcome in the property.
The ground floor has a sitting room with a multi-fuel stove and we will provide you with a statrer pack of logs and kindling. The kitchen/dining has a farmhouse feel and is equipped with a large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine/tumble dryer, electric oven and four-ring stove and the dining table seats 8 comfortably. There is a ground-floor wet room heated by underfloor heating with sink & WC, and an upstairs bathroom with a traditional cast iron bath/shower & WC.
Rose Cottage has three bedrooms comprising of a double & twin upstairs with a bunk room on the ground floor.
The property is kitted out with superfast Starlink Wi-Fi.

Ardtornish and Morvern
Ardtornish is a working estate - we have a Farm Shop, Kitchen Garden, Gift Shop and produce Hydro Electricity. You can purchase Ardtornish reared beef and lamb, wild venison, homemade ready meals and take-away hot drinks from the Farm Shop and if you preorder, we will even have your order waiting in your property on arrival.
Morvern is a spectacular peninsula; a playground for those who enjoy wildlife, outdoor pursuits and spending time in remote landscapes. It is a place to stop, breathe, open your eyes and rest your mind.
The local village of Lochaline is 3 miles away and is home to an award winning restaurant, post office, pub, shop and the ferry terminal servicing The Isle of Mull which is just a 20 minute sailing.
