Welcome to Tigh Na Beannaich

Tigh Na Beannaich is a light, airy, stylish and spacious self-catering accommodation perfect for discerning families or groups of friends seeking a relaxing holiday or short break. This fabulous retreat offers an escape from daily stresses, set in an idyllic, scenic, and semi-rural location within a quiet cul-de-sac. Nestled on 1/3 of an acre of well-maintained gardens, the property enjoys peaceful surroundings and stunning views across the Ochil Hills in the heart of Perthshire, Scotland.

Elegant & Comfortable Living

Beautifully finished to the highest standard, the house features Oak and Marble flooring throughout, with hand-made soft furnishings tailored to each room. With five bedrooms, it comfortably sleeps 13 guests, including two cots for infants. Ample space is available to relax and spread out across three large public rooms and a spacious 30ft kitchen.

Many families with adults and children with additional support needs have been welcomed here, and the hosts are happy to accommodate additional requirements upon request. On arrival, guests are greeted with fresh flowers and complimentary welcome supplies, along with thoughtful touches to enhance their stay. For special occasions, in-house catering is available on request.

Amenities & Outdoor Space

After a day of exploring, guests can unwind in the indoor heated swimming pool. Entertainment options include a 50-inch TV with Sky, a selection of DVDs for all ages, family games and a large collection of CDs.

The garden offers a patio with a picnic table for dining outside, plus additional outdoor seating. A good-sized lockable shed is provided for bikes and golf clubs, and two private driveways accommodate up to eight cars comfortably.

Prepared with care and awarded Eco House status alongside Customer Choice awards from 2020 to 2025, this tranquil home-from-home is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, walkers, cyclists, golfers, nature lovers, and bird watchers alike.

If you need to venture out in wet or cold weather without the right gear, spare wellies and winter jackets are available on request. There is excellent unlimited WiFi, and your welcoming hosts are knowledgeable about the area and ready to assist with any aspect of your stay.

Please note: there are 14 steps to the front entrance and two steps at the rear.

Set between Kinross and Dollar, overlooking the Ochil Hills, Tigh Na Beannaich enjoys a peaceful yet central location ideal for exploring the southern Highlands and central Scotland. Gleneagles is just 15 minutes away, while Perth and Stirling can be reached in 20 minutes. Edinburgh, Dundee, Glasgow and St Andrews are all within a 45-minute drive.

The area is rich in history and activities, with 25 castles nearby and 35 golf courses within 5 to 40 minutes, including world-renowned Gleneagles, St Andrews and Carnoustie. A wide range of outdoor pursuits are available locally, from horse riding, fishing, curling, hillwalking and birdwatching to gliding, sailing, waterskiing, canoeing and shooting.

For thrill-seekers, there’s motor racing at Knockhill, hovercrafting at Craigluscar and off-roading at the Oakley Buggy Centre. Nearby attractions include Blair Drummond Safari Park, Loch Leven Castle, Vane Farm Nature Reserve, The Japanese Gardens, Stirling Castle, Wallace Monument, the Falkirk Wheel, Deep Sea World and Lochore Meadows Country Park.

Edinburgh offers a wealth of galleries, museums and historic sites, including the castle, Scottish Parliament, Holyrood Palace, Royal Yacht Britannia, and Dynamic Earth. The Fife Coastal Trail with its picturesque East Neuk villages is just 20 minutes away, and the famous Whisky Trail can be reached in 90 minutes.
