At Osdale Farmhouse you have Macleod's Tables as your backdrop and far-reaching views from Dunvegan over towards the Cuillin to admire. It's utterly peaceful, making it a perfect highland retreat for up to 4 people and 3 dogs. Your only neighbours are the grazing sheep, occasional cattle and Osdale Byre thats sits 80 metres away. The Farmhouse is at the very top of the track.

Osdale Farmhouse has all the cosy charm you'd expect from a 150-year old crofting cottage. You'll love spending time in the semi-open plan kitchen and living room gazing out the windows at the views. The kitchen is well equipped, having all you need to cook up a feast. It flows into the warm and welcoming living room which is the perfect place for you to relax with friends and family. There are comfy sofas, throws and cushions to sink into, a wood burner, books and maps to enjoy. Upstairs you'll have the choice between a king or twin bedroom with beds that will guarantee the best nights sleep.

The Farmhouse is practical too. There is a fully-equipped utility room and boot room which are perfect for drying off wet weather gear, muddy boots or a tired dog. The downstairs also enjoys underfloor heating, keeping the Farmhouse warm and toastie.

Dogs are very welcome at the Farmhouse. Your dogs can enjoy their own outdoor space at the rear of the cottage while from the front they can discover the large area that's shared with Osdale Byre. We provide a MudDaddy, dog bowl, tracking lead, poo bags, throws for the sofas and dog beds too if you can't squeeze one in the car.

While Osdale is the perfect escape it's only a few miles from Dunvegan and well located for many of Skyes well-known destinations. Neist Point, Coral Beach, Dunvegan Castle and the Fairy Pools are close by, but if you want to discover some other fabulous places where you may not see another soul we have lots of suggestions for you in our digital guidebook. 

Our guidebook also gives you plenty of suggestions for eating out. It's not surprising that we have some great restaurants on Skye celebrating the natural produce on our doorstep. Several highly acclaimmed restaurants are nearby including The Three Chimneys, Loch Bay and Edinbane Lodge. Osdale farmhouse and Byre can be booked together for a group of eight. In high season (mid-may to end September) we accept weekly bookings. At all other times we accept shorter stays of 3+ days.
