Seatown Cottage is no longer being offered as a holiday home as we liked it so much we are moving there early in 2024!
Next door, 6 Seatown is smaller and more intimate. The double bedroom and bathroom are on the ground floor, an advantage if you have limited mobility problems. There is a well equipped and modern galley kitchen off the lounge which has a real log stove for those long, cosy winters' evenings, as well as a dining table for 4. The twin bedroom and playroom upstairs are best suited to younger children as they have low ceilings. Outside there is also a shed you are welcome to use to store bikes, paddle boards or surf boards etc. and a small enclosed garden, which can be quite a sun trap!
Just a quiet road separates our Seatown Cottages from the river Lossie and the photogenic remains of the old bridge. Each cottage provides bright and airy, family friendly accommodation set in a stunning location. (Your 4 legged friend is very welcome too!) A fast broadband service means you can stay in contact if you want to and there is off road parking in front of the door. The new bridge to the East Beach (opened May 2022) gives access to miles of sand on your doorstep! The lovely West Beach, with it's iconic lighthouse is only about 1 mile away, and it's an easy drive to other lovely beaches at Hopeman, Burghead and Findhorn, to name but a few!
If you are looking for an active break, New Wave Surf school at the East Beach car park can organise both surfing and stand up paddleboarding, there are miles of coastal or woodland walks, mountain biking at the Winding Walks near Fochabers and there are golfing options aplenty. Or you can relax and watch other people, keeping an eye out for the ospreys fishing in the river in front of you.
6 Seatown is in an ideal location to enjoy this stunning area, however you see fit!
