Stationmasters Lodge is a large holiday house sleeps 18 near the Isle of Skye with stunning views of Loch Carron. Located in the highland village of Stromeferry amongst spectacular west coast scenery and overlooking Loch Carron, Stationmaster’s Lodge is ideal holiday accomodation for large groups, family gatherings and groups of friends, with amazing loch views, plenty of space and great facilities including a cosy wood burning stove. DOGS WELCOME! This is a large stone house packed full of character and history spread over three levels and there are eight bedrooms, half of them en-suite. The rooms are a good size and some of them have incredible loch views. Look out for the local wildlife including for otters on the shore if your lucky! This is a wonderful corner of the West Highlands, where a remote and dramatic landscape meets the sea. Its feels remote and off the beaten track, and yet is easily accessible from the main road to Skye. Eilean Donan Castle and Plockton are close by and you can also arrive by train with (Stromeferry Station) opposite the house. Our lochside location is magical and a perfect base for groups looking for a highland holiday lodge! Built in 1880, it was was formerly the stationmasters house (Stromeferry Station sits opposite the lodge on the Kyle of Lochalsh line).
