This spacious apartment has an abundance of original features, in particular beautiful stained glass windows depicting the Scottish Saints and large stone arches that have been thoughtfully incorporated into the room design. The majestic rib vaulted ceiling and large ornate stone mullioned windows give a feeling of spaciousness and presence. The kitchen is stylish and well appointed with a large island and beautiful dining area.
The bedrooms are located on the first floor, accessed from the hall. The large galleried master bedroom with en-suite bathroom projects over the living area, allowing views of the stained glass windows and changing light throughout the day. There is a twin bedroom on this level, which has access to a shower room on the ground floor. All rooms have been beautifully designed and tastefully furnished with great attention to detail.
The Highland Club is situated within 2 minutes walk from the centre of Fort Augustus. Amenities include a number of local pubs/restaurants, local supermarket and a variety of gift shops. There is a 9 hole golf course, Tourist Information Centre and many local attractions and beautiful walks without the need to drive if you prefer.
The location allows traffic free access to The Nevis Range ski area during the winter months and year round access to the Highlands and all the local outdoor/adventure sports.
