Culligran Cottages provide the only self-catering accommodation in this special glen - Glen Strathfarrar is a little known gem but once visited, folk feel compelled to return! We have one Highland stone cottage and four chalets, all comfortably furnished. The cottage is spacious, 3 bedrooms sleeping 6 (max 8, using sofabed and extra folding bed), 2 bathrooms, large dining/kitchen, plenty of room for fishing tackle, bikes, dogs and outdoor clobber - ideal for families. The chalets all have large south-facing windows so are light and warm. Comfortably furnished, 2 or 3 bedrooms. Linen available (extra charge). Beautiful, peaceful and wooded location, dogs and children welcome. 17 miles of private road - ideal for cycling, fly-fishing on the river Farrar, a tributory of the Beauly river. Observe the wild deer in the glen or feed the farm deer - take a trip round the deer farm with Frank in his Landrover! Pub and hotel within 1 mile. Also close to Beauly, Glen Affric, Loch Ness and the Black Isle. East and west coasts easily accessible. Inverness, the Highland capital, only 30 mins drive.

Our traditional stone Cottage and Norwegian chalets offer the perfect escape from the world. With bikes for hire you can cycle the length of our 16-mile Glen spotting wildlife or enjoying a picnic on the banks of our beautiful river.

Culligran also makes the perfect base to explore further afield with many iconic Highland attractions within a short drive. Then come back to your quiet accommodation to relax and watch badgers and pine martens feed at night! A truly magical break you will cherish for the memories you create.
