Aberdeen International Youth Festival: Wednesday July 27 to Saturday August 6

Aberdeen International Youth Festival is recognised as one of the leading youth arts events held anywhere in the world. Now in its 39th year, this celebratory multi-arts event provides a 10 day whirlwind of shows that include classical music, dance, jazz and theatre. There are also a number of workshops and master-classes available that run in tandem with the main festival programme.

Many shows have special value tickets for families and OAP’s and some of the events are free.
One of the highlights of this year’s festival will include a series of choral concerts from the National Youth Choir of Scotland, an Icelandic female choir and Norway’s finest choristers, ‘Stord Undomsker’.
There is also an extensive classical music programme, big band jazz performances and some electrifying dance shows on offer.
As part of the AIYF Scottish Festival Tour some of our top acts will also be performing at venues in Inverness, Perth, Dunfermline and Montrose.
