Property Description

This traditional cottage has been beautifully restored to a very high standard; bright & stylishly furnished with an open plan kitchen/living area with underfloor heating. The open plan area comprises a well equipped kitchen with integrated appliances, comfortable dining and additional seating in the glass extension to catch the morning sun with a coffee from the Nespresso machine. The living area has comfortable seating, a flat screen TV and a well-stocked wood burning stove.

The bedrooms are both ensuite; the master having a roll top bath in the bathroom. A door from the twin room leads onto a patio with a cafe style table & chairs perfect for morning coffee. A separate outhouse is provided as a perfect wet kit boot room. There is a stainless steel sink, washing machine, tumble drier and overhead pulley for drying clothes.

In addition to two laid lawn areas to the front of the cottage there are two separate decking areas for al fresco dining and BBQs. Deck chairs are also provided to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

Situated on Dupplin Estate run by my husband and I this cottage was used prior to the war as a mill. Only the lade (canal on the other side of the front fence) where the water wheel used to be situated and two walls remain of the old mill. The cottage was used after the war to house the ghillie but was abandoned for many years until we started restoring it to what it is today.
This was our first project of three holiday cottages which we have now restored on Dupplin Estate. Each one offering something a little different.
