You can walk straight from the cottage door and climb a Cuillin, or walk to Loch Coruisk or swim in the burn, or search for the unusual flora in this Special Conservation Area. This extremely popular old shepherd\'s cottage has been brought up to date with double glazing throughout, controllable electric heating, comfortable beds, a very well equipped kitchen, a multifuel stove in the sitting-room and WIFI but it still retains its character. Sleeping a maximum of 8 (5 in the main cottage and 3 in the bothy/annex,) it is best with not too many it is not very large. The Sligachan Hotel is a 1/2 mile walk away with a choice of bar or restaurant food, children\'s playground and bus service to Portree. (Closed from 1st November - 1st March.)
