The Old Church is now a character cottage sleeping up to 10 in the stunning village of Ardvasar, Isle of Skye just one mile from the Mallaig ferry.  The deceptively spacious cottage has the original church bell tower, and features wooden panelling, an oak staircase, and its huge picture window with magnificent view over bay.

The cottage was extensively refurbished in 2017 including the sbeautiful new solid wood kitchen. It is ideally situated on the Sleat Peninsula - the "Garden of Skye", within easy reach of the mainland & the rest of Skye.  The local pub serving great food inside, outside and for takeaway is just moments down the road!

The cottage itself has excelelnt facilities inncluding bluetooth devices, Sky TV, unlimited WiFi, full laundry facilities, a fridge freezer, a wood burning stove and more.  It has been equipped to a very high standard. All utilities & linen etc are included in the price.

Pets are VERY welcome with great dog walks on your doorstep.

The cottage boasts 4 bedrooms, a main lounge, dining room, and large kitchen dining area with additional seating and table for informal dining.

The sleeping arrangements are very flexible with 4 double bedrooms and a double sofa bed - the main bedroom "Arran" has an en-suite wet room. Upstairs two further bedrooms, "Islay and Barra" can be configured as king sized beds or each have two singles. There is a family bathroom upstairs with shower. Downstairs there is a room with bunk beds which are suitable for adults. The (very large) dining room has a double sofa bed & privacy screen provided so guests don't have have to put the bedding away every day. There is another bathroom downstairs with a shower over the bath.
