This rural retreat situated on a 500 acre working highland farm at the foot of Ben Nevis, Torlundy Farm has six self-catering chalets and two large lodges bordered by the river Lochy. There are 2 trout lochans on the farm where livestock includes 10 ponies, Highland cattle and cheviot sheep.
Whether it is walking, climbing, skiing, fishing, canoeing, sailing, wildlife or just sightseeing and relaxation you are interested in, the area a paradise for visitors interested in the whole range of outdoor pursuits.
There are some good walks down to the river Lochy and along the banks where you might see you might see indiginous wildlife including roe deer, red deer, buzzards, pine martens, otters, woodcock, oystercatchers and Canada geese. The mixture of natural woodland, open moorland and riverbanks creates a wonderful habitat for a variety of deciduous and coniferous trees, wild mushrooms and fungi, wild flowers and butterflies.
