The cottage is situated on our farm where we live and work and is approximately 50 metres from our home, the farm house. It offers private and peaceful accommodation where you can relax and view life in the countryside. We aim to welcome our guests personally and will be happy to answer any questions you may have, upon arrival.
As it is a working farm, we would advise that children should never be unaccompanied or wander around the farm steading. We will be happy to advise which fields are suitable for walking, however at certain times of year (lambing/calving), access will be restricted and we will advise of areas where there are crops growing, to ensure no damage in caused inadvertently. The large garden at the cottage provides a secure space for playing and enjoyment. Should you wish to view farm life up close/get involved, we will do our best to accommodate this, wherever possible. Should you wish to arrange a fridge-fill/food shop to coincide with your arrival, we will be happy to accept this on your behalf (arrival day only).
The area offers terrific walking and cycling opportunities, in addition to being well positioned for exploring the capital city of Edinburgh to enjoy its many attractions/events, in addition to being well placed to visit Glasgow and enjoy the museums, shops and restaurants.
The Scottish Borders is a beautiful part of Scotland, with wonderful scenery to be enjoyed.
We look forward to welcoming you to our farm.
Danielle & Robert Campell
