Four large reception rooms ensure comfort and space for your entire group whether you are enjoying a relaxing family holiday or using the beautiful surroundings of Scammadale Glen to join friends and family for a special celebration. A well equipped kitchen and open plan dining space with AGA and wood burning stove is a delightful space to enjoy a relaxing breakfast overlooking the stream and garden or an adaptable space for a large celebration meal before retiring to the comfortable lounge with its open fire, plentiful seating and space for enjoying music, games and each other's company. A large back hallway can accommodate dog beds if you choose to bring your four legged friends, by prior arrangement. An outdoor dog run and kennel provides a comfortable space for your dogs should any of you day trips not be for them. Lagganmore House has plenty of lawn area for children and adults alike to enjoy the close vicinity of the house with outdoor seating and plenty bird feeders to attract the wide range of wildlife for your enjoyment. A pleasant walk from the house takes you up the Glen to Loch Scammadale where you can take advantage of the house fishing permit, or take advantage of the many walks direct from house or further afield. A short journey takes you to the bustling port of Oban where you can enjoy the town or take advantage of the easy access to many wonderful island

Lagganmore House has been owned an lovingly restored and renovated by Lindsay and Jason over the past 14 years, updating an old, tired former farmhouse into a fabulous family home in which to to bring up their family and menagerie of animals over the years. They have now converted it into this holiday let having realised the wonderful capacity of this large extended farmhouse to accommodate large groups set in the beautiful surroundings of Glen Scammadale. Lindsay and Jason added on the bespoke conservatory some 10 years ago and it has complimented the downstairs of the house expanding the farmhouse kitchen and has been used constantly for big family Christmas's, birthdays, family gatherings including hosting a Renewal of Wedding Vows ceremony and associated celebrations. As proprietor of Lagganmore House Lindsay welcomes you and hopes Lagganmore House is the perfect location for you and your group.
