The cottage provides excellent accommodation on one level. Parking is adjacent to the property. A great base for enjoying this area of outstanding beauty.
Set in the beautiful Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, Allt Beag provides an ideal base for watersports, walking, cycling, visiting historic places or just enjoying the peace and tranquility.
Two hotels are a short drive away where you can enjoy a drink or meal.
At the rear of the property, the ramp takes you to the door of the Utility room which is equipped with wall and base units, a washer and a sink. The Oil Central heating boiler is housed here too.
From the Utility room you will enter the light, bright, spacious kitchen with white units and wooden work surfaces. Lots of room for storing groceries and well equipped the kitchen is fitted with a four ring gas hob and electric oven plus a dishwasher, fridge and freezer.The open plan lounge area is spacious and light with TV/DVD, a selection of books, games and videos for your enjoyment. A King size en-suite bedroom, a twin bedroom and a single bedroom ,sleep 5 comfortably. The family bathroom has shower, bath, toilet and hand basin.
From your window, deer and red squirrel are seen regularly. For the more adventurous a walk or cycle up Glen Ogle rewards you with a spectacular view of Loch Earn and the surrounding mountains. A selection of Munros are a short distance away. The local Loch is a big attraction during the summer months for fishermen and boats.

We refurbished the interior to make it light bright and spacious for guests to enjoy. The garden is enclosed from where you get a good view of Loch Earn especially in the winter months. We get very positive feedback from guests who enjoy the location, watching the wildlife or enjoying the walking, cycling and fishing close by.
Fishing and watersports are popular on Loch Earn during the summer months with permits available at the local shop. Boats can be hired from Drummond Fish Farm on Loch Earn. Allt Beag is used as a base for touring the wider area of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.The Trossachs trail begins here, taking you down to Callander and over to Aberfoyle you pass The Queen Elizabeth forest with a 7 mile drive through the forest, The David Marshall lodge, or Loch Katrine where you can sail on the Steamship are just a few things you can do on your journey.
Visiting historic place like Stirling Castle or the Wallace monument are just 40 minutes drive away, Further afield Edinburgh or Glasgow are a 90 minute drive to the centre of each. Glencoe offers good skiing in the winter months this is a 40 minute drive and offers spectacular views once you are at the top.
