Self-Catering Moray Cottages
The area of Moray is to the north-west of this region and includes the towns of Elgin, Forres and Tomintoul. The Moray Firth stretches from the fishing port of Fraserburgh in the east to the picturesque village of Findhorn in the west, with stunning coastal scenery, apricot-coloured beaches and fantastic golf courses along the way. Flowing into the Moray Firth is the River Spey – the area around which is the centre of Scotland’s malt whisky industry. The annual Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival, held in the first weekend of May in Dufftown, Aberlour and Elgin, is a celebration of whisky, food and music.
Many self-catering holiday cottages are situated on the coast and deep in the countryside between these towns, offering quiet surroundings and wonderful views.
