Cockle Kitty Cottage is perfect for a couple, a family or two couples. The cottage is on ground level with a double room and twin room with one bathroom. The sitting room is spacious with French windows and a wood burner, dining table, sofa and chairs and smart TV. The kitchen is well equipped and has a door onto the patio where you can relax on the recliners and swing chairs, enjoy a BBQ (charcoal), evening drinks and enjoy the wonderful view over the Tweed Valley. There is a king size bedroom and twin room, with one bathroom with overbath shower. The sitting room is south facing with French windows and a wood burner, dining table, sofa and chairs and smart TV and a door onto the patio where you can relax on the recliners and swing chairs, enjoy a barbeque, evening drinks and take in the stunning view over the Tweed Valley and the Cheviots Hills on the horizon. Kelso is a bustling market town with a farmer’s market, Kelso Abbey, Floors Castle (the oldest inhabited castle in Scotland), lovely shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, walks, parks, ice cream shop and takeaways. Meals can be delivered if you would like to relax and take a break from cooking during your stay. There is a tennis court on the farm (tennis coaching available), lovely walks beside the River Eden, where you will see our organic sheep grazing and spot otter, kingfisher, swans and deer in the woodland. On the farm we grow organic oats and flowers which are available to buy in our farm shop along with fresh eggs and other produce. Nestled on in the countryside of the Scottish Borders on an organic farm country views, this is a great place to spend quality time with your loved ones on holiday in the idyllic Scottish countryside. Although rural and tranquil, there is plenty to see and do not too far away with the market town of Kelso just 3 miles away, Floors Castle a short drive away, Northumberland National Park a mere 12 miles away and Scotland’s capital city of Edinburgh just 45 miles away.
