A short break at a self-catering property is a great way to recharge your batteries!

Although Scottish holiday cottages have traditionally been let 'by the week', it is becoming an increasingly popular short break option too.  Many operators now offer self-catering accommodation by the night, particularly in city locations.  Others may have a two or three night minimum stay.

It is still common for people to take a full week during the peak summer holiday season and short breaks may be more difficult to arrange in July and August. However, at other times of the year, many cottage owners are much more flexible, and may offer the property for weekends or short mid-week breaks .
