Holiday Lodges in Scotland

A term holiday Lodge or Chalet covers quite a range of types of accommodation, but generally means a home with a rustic character and simple charm.  In more modern developments they are sometimes built in groups, arranged in parkland around central leisure facilities.  In a traditional setting a lodge or chalet will often be a wooden building, perhaps with wide overhanging eaves, in a rural or wilderness location.
