The location is one of a handful of dark sky zones in the UK - perfect for aurora hunters and star gazing. A unique, deceptively spacious, traditional stone cottage (a former croft) offering comfortable ACCO for 2 - 6 people. Recent sympathetic restoration has provided all the benefits of modern living whilst retaining the historic character of the original croft cottage. The ACCO comprises one double bedroom, a twin room and a further bedroom which can be either double or twin. There are two bathrooms. There is a large open plan sitting/dining room with comfortable sofa, chairs and window seats. Over the winter, a new wood burning stove has been fitted. The recently refurbished kitchen is equipped with a gas hob and electric oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a washer- dryer and a large fridge/freezer. All cooking utensils, crockery & glassware are provided. There is a separate hallway area for coats, wellies, shoes & muddy walking boots! The rental includes full central heating, linen, towels, a complimentary basket of logs & kindling, satellite TV, and wi-fi. Outside, there is a lawn with table & chairs where you can sit and soak up the peace and watch stunning sunsets in the evenings, but also where your four legged friend can run aroud safely!
