The house boasts five double bedrooms, each with its own bath or shower room. The main sitting room benefits from a striking double-height ceiling and a wood burning stove and there are fabulous views of the loch and the surrounding hills from all rooms. The kitchen and utility rooms are equipped with all the required up to the minute appliances and there is also a flat screen TV and broadband via a BT Hub. The house sits on its own private estate of some 60 acres. There is a pebble beach directly in front of the house and another with white sand a short walk away. Coopers Knowe House is about 40 minutes\' drive from Fort William and around 30 minutes\' drive from Mallaig. Within the immediate vicinity of the house, there is great walking - for the keen walker, Rois-Bhein and An Stac can be tackled without the need for a car. For the angler, there is the potential of sea trout and mackerel at the end of the garden and the surrounding area offers a range of scenic excursions for the sea kayaking enthusiast. Day trip options include Skye, the small isles of Rum, Eigg and Muck, a tour of the Ardnamurchan peninsular and for the Harry Potter fan a journey on the Jacobite Steam Train over the Glenfinnan viaduct . Within a short drive of the house there are a number of fantastic inns, restaurants and hotels providing good food ranging from traditional pub fare to fine dining.
