Property Description
It is surrounded by two acres of gardens that include old Scots pines, remnants of Abernethy forest at the feet of the Cairngorm mountain range. It is only five minutes walk from Nethybridge village centre. The nearest town is Grantown-on-Spey which is 5 miles away. Inverness airport is 30 miles to the north and the main line trains stop at Aviemore, the tourist centre, 12 miles to the south. The local bus will stop at the end of our road and the Speyside Way is close by. The Sustrans cycle route runs along the opposite bank of the famous river Spey. Birchfield self catering is an ideal base for touring the Highlands or enjoying walking, golf, cycling, pony trekking, climbing, birdwatching, fishing, water sports, skiing etc.
