The area excells in producing the finest Aberdeen Angus beef, lamb, and pork. Fraserburgh and Peterhead are the largest white fish markets in Europe. We grow, process and export vegetables around the world. This is a large egg producing area but the finest oatcakes and shortbread are baked here in the north east.

Aberdeenshire is renowned for its famous golf courses with 75 courses to choose from. Fishing is nearby on the River Deveron but The Dee, The Don and Speyside run through this diverse area. Hillwalking, cycling, water sports, bird watching are accessible but so too is our heritage centres, castles and museums.
